Лукашенко назвал условия продажи крупных промпредприятий

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, answering questions of parliamentarians after handling the Message to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly, called the terms of the sale of large industrial enterprises.

“I do not mind to sell. The main issue is the price,” — said Alexander Lukashenko.

The President pointed out that the shares of some companies were put on sale. However, the strategic assets may not be sold at the prices offered by potential buyers. For example, “Belaruskali” is estimated at $30 billion, and wanted to buy it for $5 billion, although only in 2018 the company’s revenue was $2.5 billion.

“You have to pay a price that satisfies the owner and they want to take for free, — said the head of state. — Therefore it is not necessary so to hurry: the investor, to sell etc”.

The President reminded that in his time at BelAZ was a difficult situation, today it is a highly profitable enterprise, demand for its products has increased enormously. Similar situation with woodworking: early to invest in it was skeptical, and now have a big industry for the future.

Answering the question about reforms to achieve by 2025 a GDP of $100 billion, Alexander Lukashenko said: “I am ready to go to any reforms that you can withstand, I already talked about this. Do not blame me that I am a conservative and do not want any reform”. However, he urged to look at this issue from different sides: “we Have the great mass of the population that the word “reform” under the plinth. So it’s not about me. Want reform you will reform.”

As for investment, the head of state believes that Belarus has created conditions for investors. As one example, he cited the industrial Park “Great stone” with its tax benefits.
