Lugansk thermal power plant was shelled

Employees were allowed to reduce the time spent at the station.

Lugansk thermal power plant in the city Happiness around 20.45 on Thursday came under fire, reported the press service of the DTEK Energy.

According to her, on the territory of the motor transport Department dropped a mortar shell. The fire damaged motor vehicles the property of the Lutes.

“As a result of a terrorist act none of the employees were not injured. The fire damaged motor vehicles the property of the Luhansk TPP. Station staff received the order to reduce the time spent on the territory of TPP in the absence of an urgent need”, – stated in the message.

Note that, Lutes is the only producer of electricity for the North of the Luhansk region. Until 25 April 2017 the station operates separately from the United energy system of Ukraine due to the fighting damaged the main power lines.
