Lotus built the fastest car in its history

The maximum speed is 315 kilometers per hour.

Company Lotus has built the fastest road-legal car in its history. It was the modification of the model Evora called GT430 Sport.

Sports car is equipped with 3.5-liter “six” with a mechanical supercharger, which produces 436 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque (450 Nm, or from modification with a six-speed automatic transmission). From zero to hundred kilometres per hour such car can yaratsa in 3.6 seconds. The maximum speed is 315 kilometers per hour.

In July, Lotus released a track coupe Evora GT430, which got developed aerodynamic body kit made of carbon fibre. The same car, but the Sport version was deprived of the kit, which sports car has become lighter by 10 pounds. Now the car weighs 1248 pounds, and its ratio of power to weight reached 345 a ton of force.

At maximum speed the downforce Sport version is 100 pounds, whereas the ordinary GT430 305 kilometers per hour produces 250 pounds.

From Evora GT430 Sport remained adjustable dampers from Öhlins track version, chetyrehporshnevye brakes, limited slip differential, and custom traction control.
