Disability will not be an obstacle to a full and active life
The defender of Ukraine from Odessa Nicholas Poltorak, who returned from the zone ATO without a leg, trying to live at full power and not lose their optimism.
During one of the military operations, a man stepped on an enemy mine and was left disabled. However this tragedy did not break it, and tempered the spirit.
Nicholas decided that disability will not be an obstacle to a full and active life. He moves a lot, since the army was engaged in sports. Poltorak wants to return to regular full-Jogging to running marathons.
Lost a leg hero replaces the prosthesis, but if you constantly load it, it will quickly fail. So the man wants to have a special sports prosthesis that will give the opportunity to go on a cross-country route without fear to break an artificial “leg up”.
June 25 at his usual prosthesis for everyday life Nicholas ran two kilometers in the charity race Half Marathon Odessa 2017. Half of the funds collected during the marathon, will list it on the purchase and manufacturing of items of sports prosthesis for him.
The cost of the latter amounts to 135 thousand UAH, that is to Poltorak, the father of four children, an unreal amount. However, he does not lose faith in the fact that with the help of caring people, his dream will become a reality.
