The Aussie said that I would not trade my life for anything.
73-year-old Australian David Glasheen was a successful businessman until he lost almost all of the state during the financial crisis of 1987. Since then, the man rethought his life and decided to retire on a small island off the coast of the Green continent, where he lived for 20 years.
According to Glasina in search of a new life, it took almost 10 years. Shortly after the businessman went bankrupt, his wife left him. New girl the Aussie asked him to run away together to some deserted island. David agreed, but it soon turned out that his girlfriend is not ready for life in the wild. The Aussie was left alone. Now his only companion – a dog.
In a wooden hut of a former millionaire almost no electricity, it is generated by the solar panels. However, the Australian does not lose touch with the outside world, occasionally going to the Internet. He watches television shows and even meet women.
“The main disadvantage of my life on the island – lack of live communication. I would be happy to find a girl or two that could come to me at least a couple times a year,” says the Australian.
David eats “pasture”, self raising vegetables in his garden. Once a year he gets to the nearest town to pamper yourself with sweets and other products that are impossible to clean.
Sometimes it come the tourists, who bring “Robinson cruise” gifts, for example, alcohol.
Despite all the disadvantages associated with the hermit life, the Aussie says he is in heaven, that no matter what would not change.
