Loser from Denmark lost the court beavers

A Danish resident did not receive the desired compensation, and lost the court beavers.

In Denmark a local resident lost the case in court if you try to press the authorities for compensation for damage to private property the beavers.

Man living in West Jutland, Fiend Andersen-Frugal sued the Danish Agency for nature conservation due to the fact that a pack of beavers caused damage to trees and lake in his tenure. He demanded from the Agency, to pay him 200 to 300 thousand Danish kroner compensation, which is equal to 37 to 40 thousand euros.

However Holstenbrucke the court rejected the claim of Dane and forced him to pay 30 million kroner, the Agency, which was engaged in a lawsuit. The judgment stated that the Agency has reimbursed the resident damages, and beavers, which damaged his property, belong to rare species and, according to one witness, benefit the ecosystem.

In an interview with a local television station the man said that he was “disappointed with the court’s decision, but not surprised”: “we Have too many bureaucrats,’ said Flynn. – People like me, forced to do what they say.” The victim added that he wants to appeal to a higher court.
