Strange announcement appeared recently on the website ChildCare.co.uk: at first glance nothing normal family looking for a nanny for a child – but the farther I read, the more this ad looks like a script of a horror movie.
Here is the text of the ad. We highlighted in bold particularly interesting points:
We are friendly family of four with two children 5 and 7 years old – I live in a small village near the border of Scotland.
Our property is prekrasnoe, spacious old house located in a remote location with wonderful views.
We are looking for a good nanny to join our family of four and live with us.
We have two children, 5 and 7 years, and we live in a beautiful old mansion with a wonderful view from the window.
Nurse’s duties: prepare Breakfast, gather the kids to school, deliver and pick them up from school, help them with homework and put them to bed.
My husband and I both are very busy on working people, and very often there are cases of up to 4 nights per week, on weekdays, when we both leave, and you will be alone.
You will be given your own comfortable room with private bathroom and kitchen.
A suitable person for us, we offer payment in the amount of 55 thousand pounds per year, with 28 days holidays (plus weekend).
We live in this house for about 10 years. When we bought it, we were told that it is haunted, but we, despite everything, decided to buy. Five nurses left us last year, and each complained of supernatural phenomena, including strange noises, breaking glass and moving furniture. Obviously, it was a big shock for our children. We ourselves have not experienced anything like this, but we will happily pay more than the requested rates, as we believe it is important to find the most suitable person.
