Network joking about the extension of Putin’s counter-sanctions.
Social media users ridiculed the extension of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s counter-sanctions imposed by Russia against Western countries, until 31 December 2018.
Note that contractee Russia include a ban on imports of “certain types of agricultural products, raw materials and food, country of origin is the country which adopted the decision on introduction of economic sanctions concerning Russian legal and (or) individuals or acceded to this decision”.
Recall that sanctions against Russia were introduced in July 2014 after the Russian occupation of Ukrainian Crimea and military aggression in Eastern Ukraine.
