Ukrainian world champion in the second Featherweight Vasyl Lomachenko this year will be more likely to appear in the ring.
Plans Lomachenko for the coming year was announced by the head of the promotion company “Top Rank” Bob Arum, perhaps the most interested in the fact that Ukrainian often fought.
“My goal is to organize Lomachenko three fights in 2017. Lomachenko is a great talent, and I want people to see him as often as possible. So, I think, three fights a year (for this purpose) just fits,” said Arum.
Following the emergence of Lomachenko in the ring will be held April 8 in Maryland – two-time Olympic champion will face “regular” WBA champion Jason Sosai.
In case of victory, Lomachenko in the second half of 2017 plans to go easy weight to in record time to become world champion in three weight categories.
Recall that in his last fight in November last year, Vasyl Lomachenko ahead of schedule passed the terrible Jamaican Nicholas Walters, who out of sheer desperation, refused to come out for the eighth round.
