Currently, the regional authorities support 140 different programs on preferential purchase of housing.
In 2017, the level of funding from the local budgets of the housing programs implemented by the Foundation “Gemaldegalerie” may exceed 200 million UAH.
“In terms of conducting a policy of decentralization of powers, the main prospect of development of housing programs is to strengthen their implementation at the local level. Now thanks to the active cooperation of the Fund with the local authority there are positive changes in the direction of providing citizens with housing”, – said the first Deputy head of Board of the State Fund of youth housing Sergei Room.
Local authorities have already implemented about 140 housing programs. In addition, there is a definite tendency to increase the funding support of citizens for housing, which this year may exceed UAH 200 million.
