Lithuanian politicians introduced the “Marshall plan” for Ukraine

Measures include the allocation of 50 billion euros.

Lithuanian foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius stressed the need to expedite the provision of assistance to Ukraine.

“It is very important that the aid that goes to the Ukraine, was effective for donors willingly allocated for this means that they are not frightened of bureaucracy and corruption that is still there. At the same time we see that time is not our ally, because people are tired of war, of bureaucracy, from the ordeal,” – said the head of Lithuanian foreign Ministry.

He also believes that “the Marshall plan” should be called “European plan”.

“We have not called this plan “the Marshall Plan”, because there is an Association with an alternate plan at other times and for other reasons… But we call it the “European plan” for Ukraine”, – said Linkevičius.
