Lithuania urged Ukraine to keep up the pace of reforms

The Lithuanian foreign Ministry has commented on the entry into force of the Agreement on Association of Ukraine with the EU.

The Minister of foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius congratulated Ukraine with the entry into force of the Association Agreement with the EU and urged to keep a high pace of reforms.

About this he wrote on Twitter.

“The Association agreement between the European Union and Ukraine comes into force. Congratulations on another important milestone on the European path. I urge you to keep a high pace of reforms,” – said Linkevičius.

As reported, September 1, came into full international legal force of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, including the establishment of deep and comprehensive free trade area.

The agreement was signed in two stages in 2014, but the ratification process was completed in June 2017.
