Western sanctions against Russia should be expanded and strengthened.
Before the start of the EU summit, said the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite.
She noted that now the situation in Eastern Ukraine is only getting worse, because there began the direct inclusion of part of the country to the Russian territory.
“This is a direct occupation of the country. Without a doubt, for this reason sanctions should be strengthened, enlarged and about any easing of the question”, – said Grybauskaite.
