Lithuania has demanded from Russia of explanations for “inciting hatred”

Protest Lithuania caused by shown on the Russian TV channel a program about the events of January 1991.

Lithuanian Commission on television and radio broadcasting intends to appeal to Russian TVC channel, demanding an explanation for the violations in one of the shows.

In Lithuania believe that the program “In the center of events with Anna Prokhorova”, which was shown January 27, 2017, revealed the plot, violating the law on information, as it spread misinformation and hate.

In the air showed a report about the events in Lithuania that occurred on 13 January 1991.

The material appeared such statements as “his shot at his” “in 1991, the Lithuanian authorities were ordered to kill Russian-speaking citizens” and the like.
