Shortly after the release of the teaser video advertising the “impressive sound” in the upcoming smartphone V30, LG revealed more information about the possibilities of the new device, promising “next generation features never seen before in a smartphone”.
The same as the one released last year, V20, V30 LG smartphone will include a Quad digital to analog Converter, DAC Hi-Fi, and we are talking about an updated version.
Thanks to a partnership with California-ESS Technology, in the smartphone V30 updated Converter Quad DAC will get features such as digital filters and sound presets that will provide more opportunities to setup, and high quality crisp sound even when using “normal” headphones. Official screenshots give an idea about the new features in the sound settings, which will offer V30.
It is also reported about the support in V30 technology streaming high-resolution audio, the British company MQA Ltd. In addition, the smartphone can be used to record audio because the audio receiver it is possible to use simultaneously as a microphone. As claimed by LG, the smartphone will be able to record without distortion over a wide dynamic range of sounds “from a whisper to thunder”.
LG has confirmed that it continues to cooperate with the brand B&O Play, Bang & Olufsen, which is “setting the sound” V30. In addition, as well as the predecessor of V20, the new smartphone will come with high quality headphones B&O Play in the kit.
Recall that LG V30 will be presented August 31 at the event, which will be broadcast live. The smartphone is likely to be on sale in the U.S. and in other markets next month.
