The Ukrainian national team on tennis in the second round of the First Euro-African zone of the Davis Cup against Portugal will play a reserve team.
“Unfortunately, the national team in the Davis Cup match against Portugal will not be able to perform in its strongest part. Due to injuries could not participate in the confrontation between Alexander Dolgopolov and Ilya Marchenko. For objective reasons, will not play Sergiy Stakhovsky.
Under such circumstances, I, as captain of the national team of Ukraine took the decision to give the opportunity to perform at the highest level for our young players – Nikita Mashtakova and Ilya Beloborodko.
