The main Russian diplomat “painfully” treated the issue of Syria from a representative of the American media.
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov during a meeting with U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson criticized the manners of American journalists who tried to ask him a question.
American journalist tried to ask a question Lavrov on Syria: “is it True that you support the Syrian government? How can you comment on yesterday’s statements by the White house?”.
See the diplomat was not amused by this question and replied: “Who taught you? Who taught you manners?”.
Later, after introductory words Tillerson, he spoke again to the journalist, “Now you can scream.” In response she smiled and thanked Lavrov.
However, other American journalists just jumped on the diplomats with questions, shouting them from the room, which angered the speaker of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“The foreign Ministers of Russia and the USA entered the hall. “Mister Lavrov, Mister Lavrov…” – from all sides, she cried hysterically American journalist from the pool Secretary. The mansion shuddered. Such a “Bazaar” of his century-old vaults do not remember,” – she wrote in Facebook.
Recall that Lavrov is not the first “conflict” with the media. The diplomat in December last year, got nasty with the operator of the international Agency Reuters during a formal meeting on the sidelines of the Ministerial meeting of the OSCE.
As reported, Lavrov explained why it is so important Tillerson’s visit to Moscow. The Russian diplomat noted that the visit by Secretary of state timely against the background of recent world events.
In turn, Rex Tillerson believes that the meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov will allow to delineate the positions of Washington and Moscow against each other.
