The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) has opened a case on the grounds of anticompetitive concerted actions on the market of liquefied gas.
This was stated by the Minister Yuriy Terentyev.
“About liquefied natural gas yesterday, the decision on the appointment of the government Plenipotentiary Valeria polyukhovich was prosecuted on the grounds of anticompetitive concerted actions. Now is the detailed planning of the next steps for investigation and, accordingly, will be initiated procedural actions of the AMC,” said he.
In addition, according to Terentyev, the Agency is aware of published by the Ukrainian online edition of correspondence between the leaders of wholesale traders, in which they discuss the pricing of LPG.
“We are wary of such evidence, as published by the FREE communication between market participants”, – said the head of the AMC.
Terentyev added that the Committee will explore all stages of the pricing of liquefied petroleum gas, including manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers.
