The incident happened in Riga.
There was detained by the Russians for the launch of the drone near the building of the Ministry of defence of Latvia.
About it reports a press-service of the National armed forces of Latvia.
“The military police on July 19 this year after 22:00 detained the citizen of Russia to launch unmanned aerial vehicles over the Ministry of defence. The operator of the unmanned aerial vehicle handed over to the state police,” – said in the message.
It is noted that on 4 July, the government of Latvia approved amendments to the rules that prohibit unknown drones to fly near the building of the Ministry of defense at a distance less than 50 meters.
