Acer announces new laptops from a fairly popular series 3 Swift, radically different from the current models. They are no longer of Intel processors, which often have to pay, and a lot of – now equipped with chips from AMD.
In terms of overall concept laptops Swift 3 were representatives of the budget segment with hulls of metal and screens of 14 and 15.6 inches on the diagonal, but now inside of them is CPU AMD Ryzen Ryzen 2500U 5 or 7 2700U low energy consumption. Optionally they can add a discrete graphics card AMD Radeon RX540, and get a cheap solution for work and play on medium graphics settings.
The cost of the new Acer Swift 3 on AMD processors is not reported, but the hardware specifications are already known: mobile PC get 8 GB of RAM, the matrix Full HD IPS screens, HDDs and SSD, and battery for 10 hours of battery life and is preinstalled with Home Windows 10. The weight of the older model is 2 kg with a body thickness of 18 mm, and overall dimensions Acer Swift with 3 screen on the 14 inch are not disclosed. The start of sales of new laptops will take place before the end of this year.
