The famous English midfielder Frank Lampard announced retirement from football.
“After 21 incredible year, I decided that now is the right time to end his career as a professional footballer. I received several tempting offers to continue playing in England or abroad. But in 38 years, I feel that the time has come to start a new Chapter of life.
Have many people to thank – my parents, my family, my wife Christine, daughters Luna and Isla, friends and my team partners, coaches, and staff. I want to pay tribute to all the clubs that played.
Grateful to the Football Association of England for opportunities to study and get a coaching license. Looking forward to the opportunities that I this decision,” Lampard wrote on his page in Instagram.
Lampard is a graduate of “West ham”, and the best years of his career the midfielder passed in “Chelsea”, with whom Frank had won the Champions League and the Europa League, and three times became the champion of England. After leaving Chelsea, the midfielder played in the “Manchester city” and “new York city”.
All throughout their club careers, Lampard in all competitions played 852 of the match – on account midfielder 256 goals and 178 assists.
At international level Lampard has played 106 matches and scored 29 goals. In England born in London to get the trophies failed.
