Award-winning tennis player Petra Kvitova is a long way to go to court after an armed attack at his house in Prostějov (Czech Republic).
The day before the unknown man of 30 years under the guise of employee of community services entered the apartment Kvitova and attacked a two-time winner of Wimbledon. The offender put a knife to the throat of a tennis player – Peter, apparently, grabbed the blade with his left hand, what may have saved his life, but suffered serious lacerations to the fingers of your shock hands.
Nearly four hours Kvitova was operated on at the hospital nearby and Proteiin Brno. The doctors repaired the damage of the tendons in all five fingers of the left hand. The next 6-8 weeks the Czech Republic will hold the plaster, and only three months after injury will be able to fully load the arm.
“Peter sustained serious damage, but she’s young and strong, so there is no reason to talk about retirement,” – said the representative of the Czech Republic Karel Tejkal.
Due to an armed attack Petra Kvitova forced to miss a significant portion of the upcoming season. Czech just will not play in Australian Open and will prepare for the earth segment of 2017.
