The third racket of Ukraine Kateryna Kozlova finished the fight on hard courts tournament in the capital of Uzbekistan.
At the quarter-final stage, Kozlov met with the 119-th racket of the world from Belarus Arina Sobolenko. Tennis players met for the first time the level of the WTA tour.
The first set lasted just over an hour. Kozlova was lost 1:3, but managed to achieve a tie-break, where successfully played Sobolenko, who took two points in the opponent’s serve.
In the second set, Kozlov took two breaks and equalized. At the start of the decisive game Catherine missed a double break-point…and stopped playing my tennis. Ukrainian for a few minutes gave two assists and was unable to return to the game.
In the match against Sobolenko Kozlov has served 5 aces and made 4 double faults, made 20 winnersof, made 20 unforced errors and has implemented 4 of the 9 break points.
