British tennis player Johanna konta in Miami scored the biggest win of his career.
The first racket of the UK on the way to the finals consistently beat Alexander Sasnovich, Pauline Parmentier, Laura Arruabarrena-Vecino, Simona Halep and Venus Williams, and in the final match of the Conte was waiting for the ex-first racket of the world Caroline Wozniacki, which in case of victory back in the top 10 of the WTA rankings.
In the first set konta made three breaks in the two lost games on her serve. In the second set, Wozniacki tried to seize the initiative, however, the loss of flow in the seventh game cost the Dutch another lost final. In February, Caroline lost in the final match of the tournament in Doha and then in Oak in the final lost to Ukrainian Elina Svitolina.
Konta has issued a second title in his career and first won the tournament series Premier Mandatory. Winning in Miami has brought the British more than a million dollars in prize money and 1000 ranking points.
Next week Johanna konta moved to seventh in the WTA rankings that 25-year-old tennis player will be a new personal record.
