Ukraine midfielder Yevhen Konoplyanka scored a goal scored in the match of the German Cup.
It was assumed that the match of 1/8 final of the German Cup against “Sandhausen” head coach “Shalke” Markus Weinzierl will release Konoplyanka in the starting lineup, but the Ukrainians appeared on the field only in the second half.
Konoplyanka had eight minutes, which differ in goals. With the score 3:1 in favor of the Ukrainian team successfully played on the rebound after hitting Höwedes and savestate goalkeeper “Sandhausen”.
With this goal Konoplyanka is located on the first line in the ranking of the best scorers in the German Cup. Previously, the former Dnipro midfielder and Sevilla scored twice in the match 1/16 against the “Nuremberg”. On account of Ukrainian three goals – the same number of effective shots from seven players led by star forward “Bavaria” Robert Lewandowski.
In his debut season with Schalke Yevhen Konoplyanka has played 23 matches on account of the native of the Kirovograd seven goals and two assists.
