“In the native language, I sing at every performance. These promote our music, art and culture abroad. And in the summer during the holidays I always come to Ukraine to visit parents, relatives and friends” , – says Oksana Myronchuk in interview to the newspaper “Express”.

The actress confesses that he wants to work in Ukraine, even for a small salary.

“I have repeatedly appealed to the Rivne and Lviv theatres, Opera and Philharmonic. Everywhere admired my singing, but there was no place.”

After the failure of finding work in Ukraine, found the job ad for the Norwegian soprano at the Metropolitan theatre.

“On the last of his money bought a ticket for plane. And with 20 dollars in his pocket went to the audition. Prices in Norway are high, particularly for the Ukrainians. So I was singing from hand to mouth. In this competition, one place claimed about 30 soprano from around the world. From Ukraine – just me. Turned out to be: was the best,” says the singer.
