The Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow has collected from the company “McDonald’s” 300 thousand rubles in favor of a woman who fell on a slippery floor in one of the restaurants of the network and knocked out two teeth.
The plaintiff demanded a million rubles, 900 thousand as compensation of moral harm and expenses on treatment.
In most companies, the claim is considered unreasonable. The lawyer for McDonald’s told the court that at the time of the incident in the restaurant was equipped with a special sign urging customers to be careful because of the wet floor.
The Prosecutor’s office upheld the claim, but considered that the woman asked for too much compensation. According to the Prosecutor, the company “bad faith fulfilled its obligations to ensure the safety of visitors.”
