Knight’s move: Russia boasted weapons to NATO

Russia suited up in earnest.

The Minister of defence of Russia Sergey Shoigu said that the Armed forces of his country, the army received a number of new types of weapons that allow you to maintain “strategic parity” with NATO.

According to Shoigu, Russia’s nuclear forces received a new Intercontinental ballistic missile “YARS” with advanced capabilities to penetrate through various air defense system.

In addition, the Navy of the Russian Federation commissioned three new submarines of class “Northwind”, armed with missiles “Bulava”. Shoigu said that within four years the Russian army will receive seven of these submarines.

The head of the defense Ministry also stressed that after 2021 the Russian army will start receiving a modernized version of the strategic bomber Tu-160, the new fighter T-50 and missile defense s-500.
