Klitschko told how to reorganize the medical institutions of the capital

The initiative of the authorities of Kiev appreciated by the representatives of medical sphere.

Soon the Kyiv city state administration plans to reorganize a number of medical institutions of the capital. This was announced by Deputy head of Kyiv city state administration Mykola Povoroznyk.

According to him, the decision on reorganization – the next phase of health reform in the capital. In particular, the city wants to change the approaches to management of units of blood transfusion, community dentistry and Department of Nephrology. In the city administration explained that the current system of management of these areas is inefficient and outdated. And also verified that none of the institutions are no plans to close.

It is reported that in each of these areas will create a single management structure and communal non-profit enterprise. First, it will enable you to save money on management, effectively manage the budget funds to purchase new equipment and provide a decent salary for doctors. And secondly, will enhance the level of service to patients and ensure their timeliness and accessibility for citizens.

Note that already at the nearest plenary meeting – October 5 – city Council must consider the draft decision creating a single powerful of the blood transfusion service.

“By combining the institutions, and the introduction of centralized examinations harvested donor blood partially solved the issue of staff shortages, namely the issue of shortage of doctors and paramedical staff of laboratory services. Deficiency of one institution will be covered at the expense of other workers. And the introduction of automated processes, the introduction of bar-coding, creating a single registry of donors will provide a high quality of donor blood and its components, as well as her infectious security”, – said Mykola Povoroznyk.

Now work in the capital of Kyiv city blood centre, Road station of blood transfusion of the South-Western railroad and eight departments of Transfusiology in urban hospitals.
