According to the mayor, new roads correspond to the European standards
In 2018, Kiev is not going to slow down the rate of repair of roads. This was stated by the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko on air of TV channel “Kiev”, the press service of the mayor.
He recalled that the following year, extended the customs of the experiment and 50% of funds from the excess revenue will be directed on repair of roads. Klitschko said that in the past year has been repaired 200 km of roads and driveways, and this year is 302 km. According to the mayor, new roads correspond to the European standards.
“All the contractors give a guarantee of 5 years. If there are problems, they are for their funds are required to repair damaged coating. We control the quality of roads was of high level. The European city – the European roads”, – said Klitschko.
The mayor of Kiev recalled that, in the 2017th been renovated in the reconstruction and overhaul of the 25 objects, such as the Ring road, the Vozduhoflotsky prospectus, victories, Victory (complete), Boulevard of Friendship of Peoples, rusanovskaya Embankment, street Raisa Okipnoy, Vasilkovskaya str., Naberezhno-korchuvatskaya str, Michael, Leo Tolstoy and others. Also made current (average) repair 93 sites.
In the framework of the capital and medium repair repaired 20 viaducts and 280 driveways and adjoining areas. Evaluating the quality of repair of roads, Klitschko noted that in the first place, should the people of Kiev.
“If the people of Kiev will say that they are satisfied with the quality of the roads, it will be the highest rating. Our work can assess only the people of Kiev and those people who come to our city. I can say that in comparison with other regions of Kiev shows the trend of the quality and scale of repair of roads”, – he stressed.
