The mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko said that in the capital of Ukraine without heating for today is over 300 houses because of damage to the networks.
Repair crews are doing everything possible to promptly eliminate all emergencies.
At the same time, according to Klitschko, a significant number of accidents related to the deterioration of heating systems that have not been repaired for decades.
“We do our best to promptly respond to such accidents and to eliminate them”, – said Klitschko, but noticed that the solution of this problem requires very large resources.
The mayor also reminded that this year the concession with “Kyivenergo” and the city is considering the opportunity to transfer all heating systems in municipal management or to attract international operators that may take the network in effective management.
“We are resolving this issue. Our first priority is to change the pipe and to attract investment. And we rely on foreign partners who have experience in the management of energy assets”, – said Vitaly Klitschko.
