Ukrainian diplomats deal with Russia only on the release of political prisoners and during the meetings in the “Normandy format”.
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin commented on the possibility of rupture of diplomatic relations with Russia.
According to the Minister, this step will reduce the protection of Ukrainians who now live and work in Russia.
Klimkin said that “diplomatic relations with Russia in fact there is no”.
He explained that Ukrainian diplomats deal with the Russian side both the release of political prisoners and during the meetings in the “Normandy format”.
“More, by definition, no fact, even on international platforms we have. Well, what we have topic can be the aggressor? Ambassadors we have. What diplomatic relations? It’s just kind of frame to worry about our citizens”, – said Klimkin.
