According to him, historical truth is not established by the laws.
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin commented on the adoption of the “antibanderovskie law” in Poland, saying that the legislation will not help in establishing historical truth. About it he on Wednesday, February 7, wrote on his Twitter page.
Klimkin said that the truth has no boundaries.
“The historical truth has no national borders and set laws. Or she is, or you can look for it. In fact, and in another case, legislation will not help #Poland”, – he wrote on his Twitter page on Wednesday.
The Minister also assured that he will always adhere to the truth. “I will always tell the truth. To respect those who deserve it. To condemn those who have disgraced themselves. It doesn’t matter – or others. Whether in Warsaw, Kyiv or other place,” – said the diplomat.
Recall the night of 1 February, the Polish Senate, without amendment, adopted the law on the Institute of national remembrance, which provides for criminal liability for denial of crimes of Ukrainian nationalists against the poles.
And on the evening of 6 February the President of Poland Andrzej Duda signed amendments to the law on the Institute of national remembrance.
