In Kiev want to continue the subway line from the station “Borispol” to Boryspil.
This is evidenced by the statement of the Minister of infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan.
“I spoke yesterday with the mayor of Kiev and discussed the option of continuing private funding for the subway line from the station “Borispol” to the Boryspil with a branch to the airport. The optimum option of light metro that would go to the surface where now the station “Borispolskaya”. It is logical and timely. All the big cities, and especially capital, have the connection of airports with the city centre using rail transport,” – said Omeljan.
According to him, this route will be beneficial to all. Near stations of light metro, you need to equip intercepting parkings, where they would leave their cars, the residents of cottage settlements in Boryspil district.
“They arrived from the towns to the Parking lot, boarded the metro and got to work without traffic jams and problems. And from the Boryspil airport is half an hour by metro to the center of the capital. But the main advantage for passengers, because with the arrival of Ryanair the situation becomes illogical. A ticket to Europe from € 20, and travel to Kiev for 10 euros”, – concluded the Minister of infrastructure.
