In the capital launched the “season” sales expired ice cream.
This was stated by Executive Director of the Union of consumers of Ukraine Maxim Nesmiyanov.
“In may and June of each year generally have to “season” the sale of expired ice cream, that sweet, cold product which was not sold last year. Now it is actively supplied to the outlets from vendors,” explains the expert.
M. Nesmiyanov notes that during the raids on shops and markets, such overdue ice cream was recorded quite a lot.
“The packaging of ice cream written production date in 2016. Ice cream is kept between 10 and 12 months in the freezers of our supermarkets — 10 months. It is advisable to use even less because we occur due to power fluctuations, and temperature conditions often are not met”, – he explained.
