Kiev students conduct a unique environmental experiment

The funds were given to the volunteers, and subsequently project the children received the grant, and private composters got 32 schools throughout Ukraine.

In one Kyiv school the students are conducting an ecological experiment – organic waste they turn into fertilizer. It all began less than a year ago, when the sixth-grader Nikita Shulga together with a classmate installed it on the school yard composter.

“Composted organic waste – they are taken in the school cafeteria. We raised money, first bought us a composter for our school, pogonotrophy a bit and then we gathered for another 6 schools,” said the student.

The funds were given to the volunteers, and subsequently project the children received the grant, and private composters got 32 schools throughout Ukraine. Children went even further, and now teach adults to produce natural fertilizer in adults.
