The chestnuts germinated and planted in the city.
With saplings of trees-symbols of the chestnut trees decided to help the city members of the Kyiv Smart City initiatives. Residents are encouraged to bring and leave the chestnuts in special containers at pavilion No. 5 at ENEA.
The experts will check them germinate, after which the saplings will be handed over to authorities and citizens for planting on the streets.
We will remind, in September in Kiev suddenly blossomed chestnuts. “The flowered chestnut trees, in one tree, and the chestnuts and flowers. It’s almost over Kiev”, wrote eyewitnesses in social networks.
In August flowering pink chestnut also noticed on Pushkinskaya street in the city centre. “So the trees bloom before you wither. We fall, bloomed apricot, all the wood white. Spring is a dry barrel,” wrote Elena Litvinova.
Such strange phenomenon is observed in Kyiv quite often – almost every year in late August and early September.
Recall that the chestnut trees in Kiev traditionally bloom in early and mid-may.
It should also be recalled the fact that last year in the Ukrainian capital held events for improvement of chestnut. Experts have planned an extended schedule of therapeutic and Wellness programs that will improve the health of trees and to enhance the healthy growth of chestnut trees.
