Sending two barges with watermelons is planned roughly 23 or 24 of August from Hola Prystan (Kherson region) in Kiev.
This was stated by the head of the farm Alexander Sinenko.
According to him, the loading of the vessel was planned to begin last week. The delay was due to weather which affected the quality of the crop.
“The barge is prepared on 23-24 somewhere with new plantings of watermelon, and had planned to ship yesterday,” he said Sinenko.
