Similar rules will apply to tickets for land transport
Kyiv city state administration has permitted the use of tokens purchased before the changeover on 15 July for travel in Kiev subway, until July 31.
This is stated in the order of the acting Director of the Department of transport infrastructure of Kyiv city state administration Ivan Shpilevoy.
According to him, the tokens purchased before the new fare will be valid until July 31.
Passengers will have the ability to change the tokens of the old sample on new badges with a surcharge to the current tariff at the stations “Maidan Nezalezhnosti”, “Vokzalnaya”, “Polytechnic Institute” and “Darnitsa” until August 31.
From September 1, badges of the old model are not subject to exchange and their price is not kompensiruet.
Similar rules will apply to one-time tickets for above ground public transport.
