Kiev – on the tenth place.
Kiev took tenth position in the list of most polluted cities in Europe Pollution Index 2018 Mid-Year.
In the first place was the city of Tetovo (Macedonia), the second – Naples (Italy). Closes the top three capital of Macedonia Skopje.
The top ten also included: Tirana (capital of Albania), Turin (Italy), Bucharest (Romania), Sarajevo (capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina), Krakow (Poland) and Plovdiv (Bulgaria).
In the list of the 76 items are another two Ukrainian city of Lviv (thirtieth place) and Kharkov (thirty-first).
The rankings take into account the quality of air and drinking water, total water pollution, as with garbage collection, the subjective perception of the environmental situation in the city and the local residents, noise levels, availability of parks and green spaces.
