The police of Kiev has come to “a meeting” criminal authorities, who were detained for a thorough examination.
“Today in the forest-Vodice the police chief and Obolon police departments along with the special forces had raided the restaurant. Here, according to operational information, there are people who are trying to affect the crime situation in Kiev and other regions. All participants, and this – more than 60 people were taken to the police Department for conducting a thorough investigation,” – said in a statement on the Ministry website on Sunday evening.
Law enforcement authorities said that as a result of communication with the participants was established by their personal data. “It turned out that most of them have a criminal biography, and was serving a sentence for committing various crimes in prison, so for a thorough check of more than 60 people were taken to the police Department,” he added in a press-service.
In addition, during survey of a scene law enforcement authorities found several weapons, permits for which aroused suspicion. The weapons were seized for examination.
“After the study, the investigators will take a procedural decision and determine the legal qualification of the incident”, – said the head of the Main Department of Ukraine in Kyiv Andriy kryschenko.
