Kiev has sent Moscow a note of protest

“The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine note expressed strong protest to the Russian Federation in connection with the April 20-22, 2017 in so-called Yalta international economic forum on the temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation the territory of the Ukrainian Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Mr.. Sevastopol,” – reads the statement of the foreign Ministry .

In this regard, in depodesta stressed that the conduct of these activities is a gross violation of Russian sovereignty of Ukraine, laws of Ukraine, universally recognized norms of international law, including the UN Charter, resolutions of the General Assembly of the United Nations and other multilateral international treaties, which Ukraine and the Russian Federation.

“In this context is expressed by the categorical demand of the Russian side acceptance of urgent measures on restoration of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, strict compliance with universally recognized norms of international law and an immediate end to the practice of holding without the consent of Ukraine any activities on its sovereign territory”, – summed the Minister.

Earlier media reported that on the territory of the occupied Crimea arrived a number of Pro-Russian businessmen, politicians and public figures from Europe, which will take part in the so-called economic forum.
