In the capital there will be new crematorium.
In the 2017 budget year, the Kiev authorities have provided 400 thousand UAH for the allotment of land for construction of a new crematorium in the Desnyansky district.
In accordance with the comprehensive target program of increase of efficiency and development of housing and communal infrastructure of Kyiv city for 2016-2020, approved by the decision of the Kyiv city Council from 17 March 2016 number 232/232, envisages the construction of a new crematorium in the city.
“The program of social and economic development of Kyiv in 2017 for construction of a new crematorium, provided funds in the amount of 400 thousand UAH for work on branch of the land plot”, – is spoken in the message of Department of housing and communal infrastructure KSCA.
Also in the city administration added that to date, work is underway to expand the boundaries of Forest and South cemeteries.
Today the capital has one crematorium located at Baikove cemetery – ritual service SKP “Kiev crematorium”.
