The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine ordered to suspend certain decisions in the field of statistics of the Council of heads of governments of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
This is with reference to the resolution of Cabinet of Ministers №661 according to government portal.
We are talking about orders related to the establishment and activities of the Interstate statistical Committee of the CIS.
Ukraine refuses CIS standards in the field of statistics and sinhroniziruete them with EU standards.
“In light of the ratification and implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union our country is interested in attracting more thematic events with the participation of the EU, aimed at improving and enhancing regulations and standards, in particular in the field of statistics in accordance with the requirements of the European Union”, – stated in the message.
Thus Kiev intends to bring national legislation in the field of statistics in accordance with EU standards.
