Kiev gathered for a rally in support of Belarusian activists

The capital, activists demand to stop repressions against participants of peaceful assemblies in Belarus.

Today in Kyiv near the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus held a rally in support of repressed Belarusian activists.

The event attracted about 100 participants.

“We support the demands of the Belarusian colleagues to stop the persecution of protesters. We appeal to the OSCE to postpone the session of the parliamentary Assembly to be held in Minsk in July”, — said the participants.

Also among the protesters were representatives of the international organization Amnesty International, which drew attention to human rights violations and advocates for compliance with international standards.

In addition, it is tasked to mobilizing the public to put pressure on individuals violating human rights.
