The Board of Directors of the International monetary Fund postponed consideration of the issue of financing of Ukraine in the short term in order to clarify the calculations.
Relevant information was published on the official website of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
“The postponement of the meeting due solely to the need for clarification of the calculations on the economic effects of measures applied by Ukraine in response to the blockade, and the consequences of the seizure of the Ukrainian enterprises not controlled by the government of the territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, and also in connection with the recognition by the Russian side of the documents issued in these areas,” – said in a statement.
Also the Finance Minister Alexander danyluk noted that a refinement of these calculations is important for both parties to maximize the effectiveness of the program.
“Appropriate advice has already begun. Plan to complete them in the shortest possible time,” concluded danyluk.
