Petro Poroshenko said about the readiness of the AFU to repulse the enemy.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the events of 2014, when Russia invaded Donbass, will never happen again, despite the fact that Kiev can not accurately predict the actions of the aggressor.
“We obviously can’t now fully own the information, now head of the leadership of the aggressor country. Scouts, unfortunately, can’t foresee everything, especially that the laws of logic and common sense sometimes unacceptable to predict the actions of our “neighbors”, – he said during a meeting with border guards in Kyiv region.
According to Poroshenko, the deployment of the UN peacekeeping mission in Eastern Ukraine and Russia’s fulfillment of Minsk agreements should prevent a sharp intensification of hostilities in the Donbass.
In addition, the President assured that the Ukrainian Armed forces are ready for any scenario in the area of ATO. “The situation is fully under our control, the defense of our reliable. The leadership of the state, APU, and other security forces are ready for any scenario,” – said the head of state
