9 minutes and 3 seconds without air. Kiev, Alexander Bubenchikov set a new official record of Ukraine in freediving. “I have surpassed your previous record – more than half a minute,” says the champion in freediving.
And this is not the only achievement of the athlete. In one breath he’s traveled 289 meters under water and became the third strongest freediver in the world! Alexander shows what is capable a human body under water. Hold your breath just for a few minutes, and his heart rate dropped to 32 beats per minute at the rate of 78. “It’s all because of the diving reflex of mammals, in humans it exists, it can be trained,” explains Alexander Bubenchikov.
But, as practice shows, even newcomers can hold their breath up to five minutes for almost the first time! Vladimir began to learn freediving and a half years ago. Recalls: at the second lesson, hold their breath for four minutes.
“Sucked really! I was already 2 times in the championship this year I have improved their results in the past year I took bronze in statics”, – said Vladimir issatayev, freediver.
Contraindications for diving there, but heart problems and nervous system. The key is to learn to relax and listen to your body.
