The inhabitant of Kiev was beaten to death.
In the capital, in the cemetery, among the homeless there was a verbal conflict, in the midst of which the man lashed out with his fists at her friend. From the received traumas the 56-year-old woman died.
The incident occurred in the cemetery of the Desnyanskiy district of the capital. The duty of the district police received a report that the cemetery discovered the body of a woman with signs of violence. During the inspection of the body a medical worker and police noticed injuries on her face.
Militiamen found out that the woman was without a permanent place of residence and worked in the cemetery cleaning the graves. In addition, the victim abused alcohol. Police found that the day of the death woman drinking with two homeless. With one of the companions she had verbal conflict, in the midst of which he beat her up. Some time later the woman died.
The malefactor was detained. Militiamen found out that the attacker is a 36-year-old native of another country who was earlier repeatedly brought to trial for infliction of bodily injuries of medium severity and theft.
On this fact the investigative Department of Desnyansky police Department of the Main Directorate of the National police in the city of Kiev began criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 121 (Deliberate heavy injury) Criminal code of Ukraine. The malefactor is detained as article 208 Criminally-the procedural code of Ukraine, the question on election to it measures of restraint. The defendant faces up to ten years of imprisonment.
The woman’s body was sent for examination, the results of which will establish the final cause of death.
