Kiev angered an unusual icon

Not all appreciated the creativity of the creators of the icons.

In Kiev in the center of attention was the popular “Karas Gallery” on Andreevsky descent. Its leadership said that the police were interested in holding exhibitions of famous artists Ilya and Sasha Chichkan “Psychedelicism” on the subject of incitement to religious hatred.

The exhibition, which can be seen in may-June, was unusual. Among the presented works, for example, was the icon with portraits of the apes instead of images of saints.

“We will explain to law enforcement what is the freedom of creativity, freedom of choice, for which there are galleries and art and what distinguishes a secular state from the religious,” commented the scandal head gallery Eugene Karas.

In the Metropolitan police confirm they received a statement about the content of the exhibits. “Materials made in the unified register, who conducted the examination,” said GU NP in Kiev.
